#69017 RE: Lowjack #68985

So I'm watching Dr Skovs video on Space weather effects at the ground level and what I'm noticing is alot of what shes saying is true, but back in the day sort of way. It seems space weather scientists are too rigid with their analysis applying old techniques that are becoming outdated in a changing environment. As the earths magnetic field continues to weaken I suspect they are going to find they need update the foundation of what they hold true. Heck I suspect when the field does finally flip hundreds of years in the future, that current thoughts on geomagnetics will be way off.

This maybe playing into why she and others do not recognize the real threat of the weakening field, let alone the flip itself. This could play into why they have a hard time believing that electromagnetic induction is occurring way more frequently than they expected and impacting EVs way more then current scope of EMC standards were set for . Idk, not my field, just how it seems as I dig deeper into this.
