I agree Yjad. Need some input from Photonics Guy or Richard regarding this Broadcom technology development. Found this good resource by Broadcom (3% stock dividend too; wow) and with presentation too from last year. I believe that Lightwave's polymer will be "additive" to any of these other advances (it seems from watching their one video that these are ethernet and other interconnects within the data servers and including some parts of the transceivers). They seem like a very logical transceiver maker to use future Lightwave slot silicon chips within their systems. Need the techie folks to confirm.
The fact that they say that the tech they refer to is available THIS YEAR makes me think that Perkinamine is not included yet. As I understand from ML, mass production is not expected this year
Obviously when Perk will be included, it would mean a significant improvement to whatever they alreay have
