Amorphous zirconium? That's the first time I've heard that adjective applied to zirconium. I thought they were just providing the raw materials.

Is Sanxiang actually creating an amorphous product? Is it necessary to have amorphous zirconium to create an amorphous alloy? I'd like to read more on this if you have it.

As background, it has been my understanding that "regular" zirconium was used in LM105 and "sponge" zirconium was used in LM106c. I got this impression from Joshua in a series of posts from a year or more ago. Supposedly "sponge" is cheaper. I'm not sure what regular zirconium is or means, but I assumed it meant zirconium in its purified state, verses sponge being a secondary process that somehow made it go further or function better in the mix.
