I mentioned this in June, all activity and pumping rhetoric was moving towards a "journal isn't important anyway, it's all about approval" theme.

I think they can't get a reputable journal to publish, and have actually abandoned journal efforts for the time being. They're all in on MHRA approval which likely won't be applied for until early Q1 '23.
