Chrom ...I've always been diversified and somewhat risk adverse . I'm also in my early 70's so its getting late to make it back if I lose a lot No stock is ever more then 20% of my portfolio and once it is ...I sell some of it. An example of risk adverse .....;--) I didn't want to go into the Reduce It readout with a long position in AMRN . Instead I sold my position ...fortunately largely accumulated in late 2014 at under $1 so I was up 3X at the time ......and put that into an option strategy disclosed on this board

Interesting My option friend who knows far more about options then I ever will ....laid out a put / call strangle ( different mths ) about a mth ago .. that currently seems to be roughly working. Loss on Calls currently balanced by profit on Puts
Agree strategy only really profitable if AMRN trades above $6 on read out
On road and on phone Lots of red on my biotech screen today ... not only AMRN
Will reread your post tonight Kiwi
So I wasn't long AMRN until it traded above $6 on the R-IT results . I tend to " sell the news "...and disclosed my sale on this board in Dec 2019 on approval of the R-IT indication
I'll probably add to my AMRN position when I see independent confirmation in some form ( Respect / Mitigate trials ) of the R-IT results .....if the risk reduction is at least above 15% -18%
