I have mint growing in my yard. I didn't plant it, the neighbour did. Damn stuff grew under the fence.

I'd switch the mint for basil.

Mint if one of few herbs I can't stand.

She had them on toothpicks so easy just to sort of graze. It was an outside event and she ended up putting them back inside after awhile because it was just off once the watermelon started getting warm.

And, agree - that would be a great salad for a meal outdoors as long as brought immediately from the fridge, served and removed.
