First, the IP is patented and available to the public. Is there a problem with established CDMOs misusing or infringing on their clients’ patents? Seems like a risky legal and reputational issue for that company.
A start up always has problems, especially ramping up and staffing. In the case of Advent we know that there have been problems with staffing. Again, not unusual with a startup, especially in a field in where there are a shortage of technicians.
And of course, the humor is in a company ostensibly concerned with its trade secrets, leasing floor space from the most notorious company on the planet for engaging in both commercial and military espionage.
