Tesla thru the roof

They ignored electric vehicle production, battery production, while TSLA was focusing on EVs and manufacturing.

They have a manufacturing advantage. These other companies are stuck in their ways, that’s why all of their vehicles look the exact same. Their suppliers are stuck in their ways.

It’s ALL about the batteries.

The closest thing Tesla has to competition is from EV companies out of China, but they lack the manufacturing expertise, the software expertise, the tech & performance coupled with margin in these cars is what drives the share price up.

Ford, GM, VW, Audi, Mercedes, will all fail to make a COMPETITIVE electric vehicle,

Sure they will sell some, but they will be inferior, and they will loose money on each one they sell if they attempt to make something decent. Big difference

It is that 100 year head start that is slowing down GM, F, and the other OEM's. They are trying to change horses mid stream and keep their old business model alive. Auto dealers, other companies supplying parts, and worst of all, legacy unions and management focused on keeping the stock dividend alive. They take weeks and months to change where Tesla changes daily. I think they will survive (well some won't as we know them) but am not writing them off just yet. JMHO.... the Ford Lightening seem like a pretty darn good truck. Telsa has no truck.... yet. More concerning for GM and F are the oncoming China made cars. That may be what bumps them over the edge, not Tesla.
