Celina Mikolajczak, former battery executive at Tesla, Panasonic, and most recently QuantumScape, has a new gig. It's an interesting choice -- a little-known battery startup called Lyten, which is working on lithium-sulfur batteries -- to ease nickel shortages and use a material widely available in North America.

“This is not me showing up to manufacture a lot of cells, this is me working with a team to develop the cells that we’re going to manufacture,” Mikolajczak said. “We’re not saying this is baked, but it’s well along the path.”
