No it was never mentioned and that was an excuse for being there but as soon as he finished the SAP he ran right back Merck. Who would leave a HIGH level position for a 8 employee small low level position at Nwbo. When did you ever see that

That was the public statement.
It does not rule out the Merck wanted Duffy to assist NWBO with the SAP because they were working some kind of buyout or collaboration in the background.
It also could be that things didn't go they way Merck wanted it to go. Linda Powers can be a tough cookie . . . so Merck could have decoupled at some point.

Learning- no one would ever mention merger much less Duffy. Nwbo is a candidate for Merck especially considering Keytruda
