Truthfan, sometimes I think they are more apt to find the time portal on Skinwalker Ranch than to get FDA approval.

The standard of the reviewers' comments show just how slipshod they have been in their research of the topic. For instance they write:

Although the primary endpoint in this case was the PFS, the authors have avoided providing any information regarding this indicator. Instead, they announced that the mOS of the entire blinded study population was 23.1 months from the time of surgery and concluded that it might be favourable in comparison to the SoC.

Anybody who had looked more than superficially at DCVax's Phase 3 trial would have been fully aware that PFS (progression-free survival) had been abandoned very early in the trial (due to the issue of pseudoprogression which muddied the water of whether or not the tumour had recurred) and that mOS (median overall survival) had been substituted as more accurate an outcome.

Whilst their comments in this regard can be dismissed as totally inaccurate it is to be hoped that they have since listened to and spent more time studying the presentation at the New York Academy of Science in May, and that consequently they or Dovepress will issue a correction on that matter.

We can only wait and see.
