$50k in government money just about pays for the next meeting or to write a report so I wouldn't expect much work to be done.
If a EV uses around 30KWH per 100 miles it'll cost somebody about $7 or $8 to fully charge a 60KW system.
So you feel it's just to charge someone's EV for free while you pay Highway Tax, State Tax and Local Taxes on your ICE fuel? You'll also pay handsomely to build out the Grid system and for increased electricity costs.
I have a better idea, lets give the Tax Breaks to buy the EV vehicles so we can give them Free Fuel.
