but motions 5 and 7 the No + Abstain votes outnumbered the For votes by mid double digit percentages.

I acknowledge it earlier (in a post) ...

Both were about compensation (easier to get a "no" vote) furthermore 5. was w/o "any" meaning ... it was a non-binding advisory vote
