Maybe not so crazy.
I owned stock in a company that was trading at $35. When it got FDA approval, it went to $200 in short order. Soon it did a 3:1 forward stock split. It continued to increase in sp to the $200 area. Soon, it forward split again. This time 2:1. So the $1200 sp isn’t that crazy, IMO.
Do the math if someone owns 1000 shares of AVXL
Years later I sold for $470
