Never knew how expensive it is for non US citizens to own US registered shs.

I do not know why it was charged now. I was charged between Aug 28, 2013 - April 17, 2020, meanwhile I owned AMRN.

I'd be interested in learning how you got turned on to vascepa/amarin.

I continuously checking tickers mentioned in newsletter, post, at other ticker, etc. ... make a quick look, overview ... if it pass it bookmark as "pick" ... make a more deep DD ... if it pass I follow ... if think time and price is right: buy

And to love it enough to want to invest

I saw it as get ANCHOR ... but it is history. I keep it because I thought R-IT will be a success ... it was. Did not sell as I expected a BO ... but did not anymore after the patent case (or anytime in the future), so I sold in April, 2020 @ 6.49.
......
Bought @2.74 ... and significantly average down after the 10-Q1 ... sold @1.89 ... invest in other ticker (CFRX). I plan to reinvest in AMRN - after I sold CFRX - since I think it is worth more than $1.4x ... I do not say it is the bottom or it will be $2.xx next week ... but the current pps effect the timing of my entry only. I still expect volatility - we could see 1.2y one day and 1.8x on the other and 1.5x next day - but definitely did not expect a BO in the near-, short- mefium-term ...

Best,
G

I do not think it belongs to my citizenship ... it is due to because the type of the "share". GDR is a certificate issued that represents shares in a foreign stock on two or more global markets.

I was not charged previously (2013-2020) just for my recent holding: $295 for May and $105 for June (sold on June 8).

Best,
G

ps.: I am curious to know I was the "one and only" or somebody else was charged by the same type of fee.
