I agree. But the EPA’s job is to enforce the regulations and laws passed by Congress. It’s job is not to legislate in place of Congress.

Part of our problem is unelected bureaucrats making law instead of the Congress, where “we the people” elected representatives.

The EPA may have been the benevolent '70's child of the Nixon Administration, but today it is a monster. Our air and water is clean in Capitalist America today and it is governments that are the great pollutors.

It was Steppenwolf of the '70s that made a mantra to show that the government and its children like the EPA are no friends of ours.
