The short interest, while larger than it is for many stocks priced in the range that AABB has traded in for the last year, is insignificant. MM's make a market. That is their job. They have no interest in making money from shorting junk like AABB.

And, as gitreal's post explained, short volume has NOTHING to do with actual shorting.
