Hey There,

Gosh, that's some very difficult stuff to deal with!! While at Stanford, I became very good friends with a fellow from Nepal.We had some very interesting chats about life, death and everything in between Pretty routine for a couple of college kids thinking that almost all of our experiences had to have some deep, spiritual meaning!! Most of it was "in one ear and out the other" until he described death in terms that were very comforting to me. He said, "Brian, death is not pinching out the candle, but gently turning down the lamp at dawn!"
