Your probably right. However Ford etc. are not in any position tp produce EV's in the volume that Tesla can. The other problem is our grid cannot handle the added drain that EV's will demand. The "sustainable energy" that they are pushing will lead to rolling blackouts etc. Remember Texas last year. and possibly this year.
