I think you are mischaracterizing statements that some have made. Obviously there are always various risks for every asset type and company.

What I have seen is “derisked” which you can interpret absolutely, but I have seen no one say absolutely and the meaning can also mean that there has been a “reduction in risk”, which means that some categories of risk are not as high as they were. I think that is a perfectly reasonable judgment, whether everyone agrees or not.

The post I originally quoted specifically stated that there is "Zero risk." THAT is what I responded to and got a bunch of people telling me that I am wrong because I am saying that there is always risk.
