right in your own perspective/mind is what you believe, and would never see it anyone else's way. that is what i get out of your post.....however i am not discrediting your perspective it's as valid as the next person's....i see things my way.......
the argument can never be settled, but we keep on trying....
above and beyond all this is at least a real product that seems to be coming soon.
i always tell people 80% of something is better than 100% of nothing, and that has made everyone in my life richer.....

Spoke, at face value from what has been revealed to date, it does look like Embarq is Powerstream over copper line. Whereas if this is true would be a source of discouragement, as a current shareholder I personally would rather look forward to the potential of this unique technology and its performance claims. We own 100% of its rights, I believe we will discover the other two entities will be a nonfactor. Can't prove that yet.

Brad Ketch has made several presentations on the value of this technology. I tend to believe him. Whether its all that we thought, is not as important as is it enough to make a good dent in the industry. It would seem it is.

Life, family and investments may bring an assortment of unexpected events or stimuli. Do we stand and cry or do we revaluate our position and move forward in our best decisions. I will wait and hopefully watch what Rim has planned for us in their development come to fuition. I can always sell if I don't like it, its my option.

What do you propose a shareholder to do in an effective proactive approach?

spoke - good job. no hard hat needed for that post. and i really want to apologize if you think i was in any way, shape or form attacking YOU and not your posts. that certainly wasn't my intention, i just think your wrong on this subject. and like you said, this board is for trying to resolve, or in the very least presenting differing opinions.

maybe if i tried to explain my basic investing and probably life as a whole outlook on things it might help you understand my point of view.

i've never been much of a detail oriented kind of guy. from owning various businesses i've realized if you concentrate on every little detail that comes across your desk you'll quickly lose sight of the big picture. the big picture being where you need to direct your business to make it a success. it's kinda like getting stuck putting out every little new fire that pops up just to save a few trees when the main body of the fire is getting ready to burn a whole town down.

now how does that effect my views on NVEI? well i'm here to make money. and to make money the big picture tells me NVEI has to become a success. and to do that they have to bring their technology to market. the little steps on how they do that don't concern me as much as IF they are moving forward and still look to be able to achieve the big picture goal.

now to get a little more specific. as for the other two companies that have rights to ANI's powerstream. there's alot of companies that make hamburgers, but nobody has the special sauce that made big macs so profitable. alot of companies make colas but nobody has the special ingredients that make coke the number 1 seller. the same could be said for beer and budwieser and almost any other product on the market. so while these other two companies may have the right to powerstream what they don't have is the embarq special sauce to make it go faster and farther than everything else.

" Instead of searching for that minute detail that you might think I am wrong about, why not discuss those things that we both know I am right about? "

you know that statement really cracked me up ( and i don't mean i'm laughing AT you ). i guess it's a perfect example of how different people have different perspectives on how they view things and how others interpret their views. in the past i've seen you go through an entire NVEI pr or someone else's post and pick out just a few words or one sentence and you just try and pick it to pieces as to what the semantics of that sentence " may " have meant. whereas on the other hand i am always the guy trying to tell you to look at the bigger picture. like i said, i'm not laughing AT you but rather how we each perceive where our point of view comes from.

so to sum things up, my main concern in that NVEI brings a technology to market and they become a profitable company and the price of their stock goes up. HOW they get there just isn't a very important issue to me. what is an issue to me is they DO get there.
