Plain that you consider “modern public companies” as those that don’t have to make a profit from operations and can only exist by hopping onto the backs of share holders, using shares for everything!
If so, then DBMM is indeed a “modern public company”. A company that is not even tradable in the U.S., deep in debt, that has never been successful at any business it’s ever tried and is currently embroiled in a 5 year fight with the SEC.
