HDG, I don't know the reason for the lack of a public offer. I am just trying to separate what I know from what I think. You pointed out the importance of that in an earlier post. I agree with you.
1. We know there has been no public BO offer.
2. The reason that there has been no offer is a mater of conjecture.
3. You presented a plausible reason.
4. I presented a different plausible reason.
5. There is no conclusive evidence for either.
There is nothing wrong with speculation based on the evidence. That's what investing is all about. We just need to be cautious of our opinions.
