Frankly I wonder how much difference there is between setting the list price of treatment at $100K/yr or $200K/yr or whatever. I really doubt that many insurance companies, or individuals, pay list price. What's actually paid is well hidden between the insurance companies and the drug maker.
I actually have double coverage plus Medicare so my expenses on healthcare have been minimal, but I cannot believe that drugs that I pay nothing for that list for over $1000 cost the combined insurance companies anywhere close to $1000.
I believe it will be in NWBO's best interest to gain anecdotal evidence of efficacy in off label use. I suspect that the company will discount the vaccine to patients for off label use provided that they get some feedback on efficacy. I'm not suggesting it will be free, but they'll try to make it affordable.
