Boi, You may be correct about this:

Or the FDA is very backed up in the wake of the pandemic, and AVXL is not near the front of the line....

FDA is very backed up in the wake of the pandemic, and AVXL is not near the front of the line.

boi

A few days ago a PR posting here claimed that Dementia was the biggest killer on the planet. If that is true and is acknowledged by FDA, even they must/should give priority to viable-proven-effective Dementia treatment investigations.

IMO, the AVXL science will still be there when the rest of the world is ready, too bad we have all go through this (unintended consequences of change) drama. It is hwat it is. WGT.

It amazes me that so many people seize on any seemingly plausible reason to excuse Missling’s mismanagement. It’s astounding that he is worshipped as a god who can do no wrong even when it’s costing shareholders money.

In my opinion it’s nonsense that Anavex is “a ways back in the line at FDA” or that FDA is so overloaded it can’t get around to Anavex (or is somehow in cahoots with the Cabal).

Even is FDA is backed up, that’s no excuse. Missling has two well paid former FDA guys on the payroll, each with decades of relevant experience and contacts. If anybody knows whom to talk to and how to navigate the system, it should be these two guys. Yet so far at least nothing has happened. What do they do for a combined 70-80 hours a week if not work the system at the FDA? This should be Priority 1.

God forbid Missling should allow these guys to participate on a quarterly call (or the R&D Day) to give investors some visibility on the process and what they’re doing to move things forward.

While the competition aggressively moves ahead in the race to market, Anavex seems to be in perpetual tortoise mode. And yet Missling is richly rewarded with a big salary, an outsized raise well in excess of inflation, and ever more free stock options.

The whole thing is unbelievable.
