I picked up my Vascepa refill yesterday. My co-pay with insurance was the same $9 for a 3-month refill that I have been paying for refills since 2018 at CVS located in a local TGT.

BTW, ATHX announced a management restructuring on 6/2/2022. Its shares are + 18% today.

It depends, apparently. My wife and I both have Medicare Aetna Advantage PPO. They only cover the brand and the generic is not on their formulary. I go to Walgreens, she goes to CVS. Both pharmacies repeatedly attempt to switch to the generic and are stopped up short by the insurance company.

In my opinion, insurance companies that refuse to cover the generic or have it at a lower tier are in the minority.

Ditto. Walgreens near me has never even mentioned the generic. Maybe they are blissfully ignorant and it's working in my favor?
