"No reason whatsoever that humans with Fragile X won’t benefit as did the lab rodents." This is nonsense of course, and particularly errant from "a biologist." Actual biologists would not make such a definitive statement from any animal model.

The study uses an excellent KO model, so it shows there is great potential for 2-73 efficacy in human Fragile X. But human and mouse physiology are not the same. Common sense, high school biology, and tens of thousands of clinical trials have shown this, to many amateur biotech speculators' surprise and disappointment.

Be careful with what you "validly proclaim". (Still chuckling at that.)
