I certainly know nothing about the details of the Journal embargo, but I've got to believe that all agreed to NWBO booking the Experts Theater and they wouldn't agree to it if they weren't allowing them to speak reasonably freely. Hopefully the Journal will be out before, and the embargo ended, but if not, I still believe there will be much the company can say and Dr. Ashkan, and anyone else that NWBO wishes to speak during their one hour presentation will be permitted to.
No one has answered the question of how Dr. Liau is feeling, and if she's resumed her normal working routine. Covid is a nasty disease, the after effect is often worse than the infection and that could very well be the case for Dr. Liau. I hate to say that ASCO could be a major spreader event for Covid, but it's true. In spite of everyone being vaccinated and tested with thousands of people in attendance, staying in hotels, eating in restaurants, etc. it's just impossible not to have people exposed to Omicron which may cause a mild form of the disease, but it's one that's highly contagious and while the vaccine prevents serious disease, it doesn't seem to prevent its infection and rapid spread.
This should be an interesting, and hopefully great week, especially if we get the Journal prior to our Expert Theater presentation.
