HDG....You are correct...IF, and only IF, the exclusivity contracts that the pharmacies and the pharmacy benefit plans have signed with the Generic companies allow them to sell an Amarin AG Vascepa in competition with the Generic companies' own gV.

HDG, i obviously don’t know the specifics here, but generally those generic drugs get a lower tier because they are cheaper.

Insurance companies default to the lower tier assuming that it means lower cost

which is normally the case, but not always

In the case of Vascepa and GV

there is no doubt in my mind that insurance companies are contributing significantly

to infringement because of this default
