I saw that tomato soup cake video in the list. I don't like tomato soup, but I might watch more of his videos. I don't think I should binge them though, one at a time :-)

I've never eaten the tomato soup cake, but I know people did enjoy it.

My mother used to make a "prune cake". Sounds nasty, but it's very good. I've never made it myself, but of the recipes I just scanned, I think this is the closest:

One of the commenters said that instead of chopped pitted dry prunes, her mother used a large jar of prune baby food. Sounds disgusting, but my mother may have done that. She really liked shortcuts.

My mother made the glaze as an icing, but you could also use buttercream...
