What criminal problems - not filing financials isn't a felony. Carter taking an offer in a settlement isn't criminal - who cares what the Plaintiffs expert witness stated the Losses were - it doesn't matter in a settlement.
When Leane filed the complaint she stated that Carter had been negotiating with the defendants directly - that isn't a criminal offense.
"why would that not make that clear to shareholders so that they would go away without spending their own money prolonging this lawsuit and potentially getting them into deeper criminal problems by continued spotlights on their actions?"
It was obvious when Carter failed to file any financial information and didn't fight the revocation - I warned everyone - and the excuses started flying such as Carter was too busy to file anything.
