HD - any thoughts on why Amarin has not come out with an Authorized Generic (AG)?
I don't follow the numbers but it is my understanding that gV is not much cheaper than V, but because they are "Generic", they get the lowest tier - shouldn't Amarin try to undercut Generics by doing this?
One argument against this is that they are negotiating pricing in EU and if they do AG in USA, that cheaper price will be used against them in the negotiations in EU. Is this a legitimate argument and if so, how much of a price difference are we talking about?
