One of the saddest aspects of this pay to play, reminiscent of the radio payola days, is that I grew up loving science and offshoots such as medicine because of the search and application of the truth!
Although I was not so naive observing the company politics and industry relationships and funding beholdings, and even the tobacco and alcohol funded studies that would try to exonerate according to their deep pocketed sponsors, I felt surely life and death medical science would stay true to the science and results.
The AFs and greedy market players have long ago sold their souls for the almighty buck and/or egos, however the medical profession (and anybody with integrity) are bound to do no harm to people and acquire and apply knowledge to the interests of their clients.
I know this is purer than reality, but come on now! Doctors and cancer research organizations that don’t uphold the most basic tenants and knowingly report and support misrepresentation of breakthrough progress in treatment of GBM, and who knows what else, are shameful and unconscionable!!!
Who and what can we believe and God help us all !!!
As for the DCVax trial results, they will be supported by the Doctors, scientists, and others, given the strength of the methodology and raw data, and above all else the indisputable fact there are DCVax treated survivors walking this earth who otherwise would not by SOC, period and exclamation point!
