Edited-The difference is ILIM is an SEC filer, I believe. It was a little easier to come off EM for them. However, you are correct as EM isn't the end, as seen in this link, companies have Tier changes every day to and from EM.
I have no idea what CUBV will do, but going to EM can be recovered. It's not impossible. This is not an endorsement of CUBV, as I am as frustrated as everyone else. Respects to everyone's investment decisions.
