To a person drilling MJ01, Encouraging is any sign of hydrocarbons what so ever; however, if you are drilling MJ02, you know there is an Active Petroleum System because of MJ01, you have 3D Data showing you where to look, and you are drilling into that Active Petroleum System where 3D says you may encounter hydrocarbons.
From a relativity perspective, doesn't "Encouraging signs" imply two different levels of expectation? Encouraging for MJ01 is different for MJ02, because your expectations are different.
Just some random thoughts when trying to understand where Zion is and what they could be thinking.
