The patent application would have been filed about 18 months ago. We know this because on autopilot, the USPTO will publish a patent application 18 months after it is first filed (the priority date).
In this case a related PCT patent application was filed Jul 22, 2020 and some prior related application, probably in Europe a year earlier.
Patent applications are not considered as part of an NDA filing as supportive for a drug approval.
