Thank you for the much-needed reminder that markets are casinos and not "marketplaces of ideas" that reflect inherent value based on objective criteria.
It is quite surreal to watch seeming adults who grew up in the United States of America learning this for the first time, market ideology is a hell of a drug!
I actually had a sell order for 10% in at 2.50 for the past week. We never made it. Should I have sold some at 2 instead? Hindsight is 20/20. Like I said, I have been in this for 10 years and have very slowly built up my position. I would never invest this much in anything in one move. I ask myself how I would feel if I sold half at 2 and then missed the explosion I firmly believe will happen versus the opposite. Answer is I would never forgive myself for selling too early. On the flip side, I actually “forgave” myself for not selling before yesterday quite quickly. I trusted my due diligence and it proved correct. The market will come around. I am not invested in this company for a short term modest gain. I am invested for the real value here.
