This is true. You could tell early this morning, what was about to go down, just by reading some of the message posts on this board.

Unfortunately, Dr. Liau’s illness was exploited for nefarious purposes.

I agree with you and note that it was feed by the company not issuing the TLD statement prior to the presentation. The company has however issued their Quarterly, skimming it I saw nothing about the presentation, which I figured as they issued it prior to it. I did note in the discussion of FlaskWorks they anticipate its use in production, nothing that specific about when.

I won't say it's intentional, but the company's insistence of playing their cards close to the vest has benefitted both the shorts, as well as wealthier investors willing to buy the cheap shares resulting from sales of weaker longs selling on the lack of the TLD statement before the open. Even the message confirming the conference came after the open.

I really don't know if we'll get a TLD statement after the conference, or if it's simply OBE as the conference has more information than would be expressed in the TLD statement. I cannot say that regulations haven't been violated with this approach, but it seems like none of the regulators really care.
