The obvious candidate for a contract manufacturer would be CRL (a huge CDMO) as they are familiar with the product. I am sure they can sign a contract with them, but as of now do have it (per SEC documents 3/31/22)
The SEC docs kind of imply they want to use Sawston world-wide. But that has obvious concerns. There is a tight timeline to get the patients PBMC to the lab. The cells are not cryopreserved.
I believe that NWBio will continue to use Cognate / Charles River Laboratories (CRL) to manufacture DCVax vaccines for both the US, and Canada (and eventually Mexico), just as they did for the DCVax-L Phase III clinical trial.
CRL also has a global footprint, so worldwide manufacturing of DCVax vaccines will be possible soon.
