It says it is about Phase 3 trial, and they have been under a quiet period about the Phase 3, until TLD was released, and this is an auspicious forum for any discussion of Phase 3 and for Dr. Liau, from CA to come to NY. I do think it is hard to think anything else is possible. Seems unlikely it would be anything else but be about the release of TLD. The PR, as you state, for an academic, not an employee, and for whom they have not previously, at least in recent times, ever done a PR, when she gave a talk. It seems quite clear what to expect.

I'm cautiously optimistic but y'all should really stop thinking in absolutes.

I've stated the other possible reason for the PR.

If LL is giving any new, material information on the trial, even if it isn't results, NWBO was forced to PR the presentation to the entire investor base because of the NYAS bulletin. The NYAS bulletin disseminated information that LL would be giving a material update on the trial to only NYAS members. That creates an insider trading situation.

Had I not been reading this board, I never would have known about the presentation being strictly about the P3 trial and that it contains "exciting updates". However, NYAS members would know that, and could trade that information. As soon as that NYAS media blast went out, NWBO's hand was forced. They had to PR the presentation, period, whether they wanted to or not.

I'm not saying that is the situation - they may have intended to PR this all along and it is going to be TLD. Definitely a possibility. But there are certainly explanations for them making this press release even if TLD isn't coming by Tuesday and the presentation is not going over results.
