Thank you Doc! You were kind enough to respond to my first post and at the risk of sounding like a duck - I think that and your consistent generous posts on this board caused me to "imprint" relative to your handle in my early days. I know how silly it could sound to say "You're my favorite poster" but I have appreciated yours so much.For what it's worth I think maybe the amount of vowels in your handle and that it's two short words also make it look warm - forgive me if that's a stretch and sounds way out there. But I've got a short first name, just like Doc and logic.
I also believe there's more than this world and like most young people in this age I was afraid of commitment, didn't know really what course my life should take, but following the diagnosis I have realized my purpose is to be right here, right now, with my wife. I'm concerned this makes me sound full of myself - I only offer it as a true statement. I'm not perfect, I fail routinely, but keep trying to be better and I'm so fortunate I've had between 3-4 years to get better as a caretaker/spouse, not everybody gets that. Let the Mrs. be the first to tell you, and I agree, that I could use a few more years of seasoning :) but I'm getting better.
The manner in which you share information - in a way that's simple to understand no matter how complex it is, it really has to speak to a greater intelligence and I'd be surprised if you weren't the smartest person in most rooms that you enter. (To all posters here, I am not necessarily saying virtual room! Too many geniuses here). I promise I'm not trying to flatter or gush.
Your comments on certain individuals which to me suggest a familiarity with some of them has also been the source of curiosity in my mind, but those are questions that are not polite to ask :) Thank you again!
