NWBO owns the phase 3 data. LL can’t present without her permission.
KOLs and institutions are very careful and selective about putting name and/or likeness into a company PR. LL must have UCLA permission to do so. They cannot be paid, and by doing so open up a can of media contact worms. They must be voluntarily trained for media representation bc as the PI they are an agent of the company when speaking with media about the trial… this creates legal liability for them and the company without reimbursement to do so. People don’t take these risks easily. Why would they announce that they are announcing negative results and why would LL agree to attach her name to it if this was all for a disaster?
Despite the PR not saying results are positive, it does say results are positive.
