I disagree because even if this was a future statement, they'd owe no update and it would just be a hoped for possibility. In this case, it does not even reach the level of an actual statement, it's just something they are preparing for in case it happens. it is not a statement, it's just an expenditure for them to be ready for something, if it happens, in the best possible way. If they had not booked that venue and TLD did come out unexpectedly, people would be furious that they had wasted such an opportunity. That investors read more into it is our own additional content added. There is no duty to explain either in advance or after the fact. It is just a detail upon which any informed person can look and decide if it merits further thought or not.
