Yes, but the plantations are owned by Gansu Asia-American Trading Company, which is a Chinese company. Gansu Asia-American Trading Company is a 100% subsidiary of HERB. It shouldn't be a problem this way.
But who knows what the real problem was. Perhaps the Chinese government still wasn't happy. Perhaps they simply want out. We don't know. What we do know is that a settlement is very likely. And probably soon. It should have happened already if we didn't have to wait a whole year for the spin-off to take effect.
