The logic is as follows
R-IT results were stat sig within 21-23 months in a lower risk population.
R-IT was roughly 70% secondary prevention.
MITIGATE is 100% secondary prevention

R- IT median age of 62
MITIGATE ..I expect median age will be around 72 .

Bottom line ...MITIGATE is a higher risk population and a similar sized study as the subgroup covered in the recent publication .....

.A total of 3,693 patients had a history of prior MI.

Total event lines clearly separating by end of yr one .

Why would MITIGATE...the CAD portion ... be any different ?
