that said, on a broader look, these market swoons are exactly when a broker intervenes to liquidate portions of portfolios when margin cash calls aren't met

or, when automatic trade "stop loss" triggers are hit

nobody in their right mind would trade that sloppy with their own shares

dirt bidder's paradise (as long as whatever you bought recovers to a proper valuation)
