Ummm. You assume the results are going to be great. You also assume the results will be known very soon and that the information leak will result in a serious price increase thus protecting the company from a buyout/takeover. . None of the those assumptions are certain.
Hostile takeover attempts do happen and some are successful. If such an attempt were to be made, the bidding war may will get up to $50.sh quickly. That is a long way away from the magical $1249 that we are told will occur if the company is left alone and gets the NDA approvals that are projected.
So yeah, a little paranoia is warranted. This is the stock market. A place that makes the old Wild West look tame in comparison.
