I remember the discussion well about TD Bank and their "interest"... it never had any wings because Ed Clarke decided there was too much risk because of some unknowns... which was a shared risk and concern of all suiters. I believe JPM had the inside track and took full advantage of the situation that Sheila and the The Gang put together.
My contacts at TD Bank run DEEEEEEEP and HIGH... not one of them can confirm there was ever a documented number.
In the end... it does not mean doo-doo-squat... time will shed some sunlight on the Cluster F... maybe...
