Scott Ritter tried very hard to excuse Russia's invasion of the sovereign nation of Ukraine - he failed.

yep, a completely reliable source. You guys seriously need to do better.

Arrests and conviction for sex offences[edit]
Ritter was the subject in two law enforcement sting operations in 2001.[55] He was charged in June 2001 with trying to set up a meeting with an undercover police officer posing as a 16-year-old girl.[56][57] He was charged with a misdemeanor crime of "attempted endangerment of the welfare of a child". The charge was dismissed and the record was sealed after he completed six months of probation.[57][58] After this information was made public in early 2003, Ritter said that the timing of the leak was politically motivated in order to silence his opposition to the Bush administration's push toward war with Iraq.[56][57][59]

Ritter was arrested again in November 2009[60] over communications with a police decoy he met on an Internet chat site. Police said that he exposed himself, via a web camera, after the officer repeatedly identified himself as a 15-year-old girl.[2] Ritter said in his own testimony during the trial that he believed the other party was an adult acting out her fantasy.[61] The next month, Ritter waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was released on a $25,000 unsecured bail. Charges included "unlawful contact with a minor, criminal use of a communications facility, corruption of minors, indecent exposure, possessing instruments of crime, criminal attempt and criminal solicitation".[62] Ritter rejected a plea bargain and was found guilty of all but the criminal attempt count in a courtroom in Monroe County, Pennsylvania, on April 14, 2011.[2][63] In October 2011, he received a sentence of 1½ to 5½ years in prison.[64] He was sent to Laurel Highlands state prison in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in March 2012 and paroled in September 2014.[17]

First off, I suggest if Scott Ritter wanted to be taken seriously, "Pirate Television" and a skull and crossbones as a logo is not a good way to start. So Ritter had an awful lot to say about the history of Ukraine and Russia. He certainly came at it with a definite bias towards Russia, and whether his take on history is accurate, I don't know because he was jumping around all over the place and it was difficult to follow. However, perhaps quite a bit of it is true because Ritter has been around a long time and has had a lot of experience in the field. He was one of the only one's who gave an accurate account of Bush's lie about WMD in Iraq. But in his entire 60 minute rant, he offered no solutions whatsoever to end the current conflict we find ourselves in. So actually what was the purpose of the entire podcast if he had nothing legitimate to offer and no solutions to end the current war that's taking place? The blame game only goes so far. What does he suggest we do now? What do you suggest we do?

Is Russia REALLY winning this war decisively like he claims they are? The Ukrainians just sank the Moskva - the flagship of Russia's fleet a couple of days ago. Is that nothing in your eyes?

So one of the things I found interesting is how he spent an entire five minutes making fun of Zelensky as being totally unqualified because previously he was a comedian who played a president on television. He then compared him to if Martin Sheen had been elected to office because of his part on The West Wing. But he neglected to mention the US actually DID elect a completely unqualified intellectual lightweight television star as president who had absolutely no experience in government and spent an entire1/3 of his presidency visiting his own golf courses. Why did he conveniently leave out that little factoid if he was going to go after Zelensky for the same thing?

He also spent some time weighing in on the attempted coup by the MAGAS, saying that in no way can we call it an insurrection because it failed, yet gave no credence to the fact that the purpose of the violent mob on 1/6 was to stop the lawful certification of Biden as president, which is exactly what the definition of an insurrection is.

He ended by saying that Russia was doing everything in its power to minimize damage to the Ukrainian infrastructure and everything possible to allow humanitarian aid to get through. Where does he get his news from because that part of his propaganda hour sounded totally bonkers since we all see the utter destruction of a country every single night on our television sets.
