In your experience, first hand or second hand, what is the longest an audit of publicly traded company has taken? A better question would be be how long was the longest audit of a company with zero revenue taken, at the maximum. Someone with good experience should be able to answer that quickly, with examples of companies provided with the time of the audit.
Here is a test of a bias. Given that the audit was initialed in Feb 2021 and said BY THE COMPANY to be completed by April 2021 or earlier, what would an experienced auditor say are the most likely reasons. Can you supply examples, in the history of business, of public American companies, with zero revenue, taking over a year to complete and audit? List them here for us! If not, just list the one with the longest audit time.
